Your dog’s reaction to another dog can seem outrageously overreactive and why? Maybe your dog used to love other dogs so why the change?!
It could be that your dog is being bullied and you don’t even realize it.
Maybe you have tried walking your dog when the neighborhood is quiet so you can avoid other dogs, but that hasn’t helped either.
If that sounds like your dog, consider this…

Thanks for watching and reading and now I’d love to hear from you.
Hit reply and let me know if you have noticed a difference in your dog’s reactivity in your neighborhood vs. at the park vs. at a dog show, etc.
Thank you for this. Yes, my dog just might be bullied when walking. She likes to sniff the same spots, but sometimes afterwards seems anxious, looking here and there! I notice quite the difference in our favorite park
Thank you for sharing, Kathy. It’s amazing the difference. I do try to notice where my dog might seem more anxious after he marks and avoid those spots if that’s so. I wonder if someday someone will come up with a way to translate marking so we have a better idea of what dogs are saying… but do we want to know? 😉
